WILTSHIRE

Geometry of the Field

A strategic tile-placement game of geometric patterns, shared choices, and calculated risk. Arrange designs from six themes: Spiral, Fractal, Triangular, Linear, Crescent, and Optical to complete winning lines or clusters.

Six theme symbols representing Spiral, Fractal, Triangular, Linear, Crescent, and Optical patterns

On your turn you don’t place a tile, you hand one of 36 face-up tiles to your opponent, and they choose where it goes. This deceptively simple twist turns every decision into a negotiation between opportunity and threat. The tile you give away may be the one your opponent needs, while the space they choose may create your own path to victory.

The opening develops quickly, but as the board fills, the number of possible patterns and ways to block them expands dramatically. By the endgame, every handoff can be decisive. You may even be forced to give your opponent the exact single-theme, double-theme, or triple-theme tile that completes their pattern if you have left the right spaces open.

Hand & Place

Pick a tile from the shared supply and hand it to your opponent. They decide where it goes on the board. Play with a friend IRL or against the AI.

Complete a Pattern

Win by forming a line (Ley Line) or a cluster (Crop Formation) of one single-, one dual-, and one triple-theme tile that share the same theme.

Mind the Center

Start with the Harvester (it blocks the center) or in advanced mode with the UFO (a wildcard that can contribute to any winning pattern).
